Kim Jung-mo (born March 26, 1985), professionally known as Jungmo, is a South Korean musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He debuted in 2004 as a member of South Korean rock band TRAX under SM and has participated in project group with Super Junior's Heechul, Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo. In early 2012, his band TRAX took a break following their member military service and returned in January 2018 as a band before re-formed into EDM group, TraxX in the same year. In April 2019, Jungmo ended his contract with SM after fifteen years. He signed with PA Entertainment in November.
Jungmo was debuted as a member of TRAX under stage name X-Mas on July 20, 2004, with releasing their debut single Paradox. TRAX released extended play titled Cold-Hearted Man on January 25, 2010. Jungmo with member Jay was contributed to written and composed all track from the albums.[ citation needed ]
In 2011 he formed a project group with label mate Heechul called M&D (meaning "Midnight and Dawn" or "Miari and Dangae-dong", after the members' hometowns). [1] They released their debut single, "Close Ur Mouth". [1] Heechul wrote the lyrics and directed the music video for the song, while Jungmo produced and performed the instrumental. [1] Their first live performance was at Mnet’s summer awards ceremony 20's Choice on July 7. [2]
He enlisted for two years of mandatory military service, on 25 October 2012. They were originally scheduled to enlist together, but Jung-mo's scoliosis condition and a fractured collarbone delayed his enlistment. He served non-active duty as a public service worker for 23 months after completing four weeks of basic training. [3] Due to the bandmembers' enlistment in the military, TRAX went on an indefinite hiatus.
In April 2015, M&D released their first EP, Cottage Industry with the lead track "I Wish" digitally on April 16 and physically on April 20. [4] The title track was also written and composed by the duo, and peaked at number two on the Gaon album Chart. [5] In August 2015, Jungmo was cast in the musical Whale Whale, which was held from September 11 to November 15. [6]
On April 15, 2016, Kim Heechul released a duet with Wheein for SM Station. The single "Narcissus" was written by him and produced by Jungmo. [7] [8] In early July, M&D returned as Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo, with a second EP, Goody Bag , and trot-rock lead track "Ulsanbawi" on July 12. [9]
On April 30, 2019, Jungmo left SM Entertainment after his contract ended. [10] [11] On July 23, 2019, Jungmo released his first single "Peach (복숭아) (featuring Henry)" since departure from SM Entertainment. In November 2019, Jungmo signed with PA Entertainment. [12] Later that month, Jungmo released his second single "If It Was Me". It is a medium-tempo retro synthpop genre song with lyrics that contain the heartbreaking feeling of a man who comforts and cheers with his heart hidden during counseling, saying that there are people whom his unrequited partner has in mind. The lyrics are based on his actual experience. [13]
On June 14, 2021, Pink Fantasy released a teaser for their upcoming song "독(Poison)" featuring Jung Mo as the guitarist. [14] The song was released 1 week later on June 21, 2021. [15]

Super Junior , also known as SJ or SuJu, is a South Korean boy band. The group is composed of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin were originally part of the group before departing in 2011, 2015 and 2019, respectively. The group was formed by the founder of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo-man in 2005 as a 12-piece group with rotational members but the concept was abandoned after addition of Kyuhyun in 2006. They are also dubbed by the media as the "King of Hallyu Wave" due to their contributions in Korean Wave.
TRAX, is a South Korean rock band that consisted of Jay, Jungmo. Originally a four-member rock band formed by SM Entertainment and X Japan's co-founder Yoshiki in 2004, it consisted of Typhoon Jay (vocals), Rose Minwoo, Attack Jungwoo, and Xmas Jungmo. Their band name is an acronym of Typhoon Rose Attack Xmas, which use as the members' nicknames.
Kim Hee-chul, better known mononymously as Heechul, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, presenter and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior and has further participated in its subgroup Super Junior-T as well as project group Universe Cowards with Min Kyung-hoon and Woojoo jjokkomi with Lee Soo-geun. He was also a member of the disbanded pop rock duo Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo.
Lee Hyuk-jae, better known by his stage name Eunhyuk, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer and television host. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-T and Super Junior-H. In 2011, he joined Super Junior's Mandopop subgroup Super Junior-M and the duo Super Junior-D&E, active in China and Japan respectively.
Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo was a South Korean pop rock duo formed by SM Entertainment in 2011. The group was composed of Super Junior's Heechul and TraxX's Kim Jung-mo. Both members decided to write and compose every song the project group released. They'll continuously release music which they can and want to do, regardless of the genre. Their debut single, "Close Ur Mouth" was released in June 2011 under the name M&D. In early July 2016, SM Entertainment announced that the duo would return as Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo (김희철&김정모).
EXID is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group consists of five members: Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyelin, and Jeonghwa. EXID debuted in February 2012, with the single "Whoz That Girl". Play is the eighth Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on November 6, 2017, by SM Entertainment. The album features seven members, marking the return of Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon after their mandatory military service. Ahead of the official release, SM Entertainment released the single "One More Chance" on October 30, 2017. The album features the vocals of only seven Super Junior members. Only six members promoted the album formally: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, Shindong, and Eunhyuk. Vocals belonging to Kyuhyun and Siwon can also be heard on the album. The album's repackage, Replay, was released on April 12, 2018. According to the music data provider Gaon, the album sold over 200,000 copies on its first week of release.
Falling Blossoms (Korean: 후유증; RR: Huyujeung) is the second single by the South Korean artists Kim Hee-chul and Min Kyung-hoon, the duo who is known as Universe Cowards (우주겁쟁이). Their stage name is a mix of Heechul's nickname Universe Star and Buzz's song Coward.
One More Time is the first extended play by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on October 8, 2018, by SM Entertainment. The album is the group's first full Latin pop album, and marks the return of Ryeowook after his mandatory military service. Ahead of the official release, SM Entertainment released the single "Animals". Only seven members participated in the comeback; Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon and Ryeowook. Heechul declined due to physical health issues, though he still participated in the album's recording. The same day as the release, SuJu held a music video showcase at MGM Theater Macao, on October 8, 2018.
