King Arthur's World is a 1992 side-scrolling strategy video game for the Super NES. It was developed by Argonaut Software and published by Jaleco.
In King Arthur's World, the player controls King Arthur. At the start of each level, only the King is present and various types of troops can be brought out of the tent where he starts. The King and his troops can be commanded to move in a direction, which they do until they receive new orders, are killed or come across enemy troops, which they fight if they can. Also, some troops have special commands, such as for archers to fire arrows.
The aim of each level is to proceed from the tent at the start to the finishing point. This may require the player to defeat various enemies, avoid traps and obstacles. King Arthur is the only essential character. If he dies, the player has failed and play can only continue if 100 gold coins are spent to rescue him, in which case the player restarts at their tent. The game can be played with a standard controller or, alternatively, with the Super NES Mouse.
In 2018 some of the original makers of the game had reunited to redevelop King Arthur's World, initially for mobile platforms. [1]
In video games, a power-up is an object that adds temporary benefits or extra abilities to the player character as a game mechanic. This is in contrast to an item, which may or may not have a permanent benefit that can be used at any time chosen by the player. Although often collected directly through touch, power-ups can sometimes only be gained by collecting several related items, such as the floating letters of the word 'EXTEND' in Bubble Bobble. Contra is a 1987 run and gun video game developed and published by Konami for arcades. Knights of the Round is a 1991 beat 'em up game developed and published by Capcom for arcades. Based loosely on the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, the game features an action role-playing video game-like level advancement system, with fighters automatically being upgraded to new weapons and armor as they advance through the game. An arcade edition of the game was included in Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle as one of seven titles released digitally for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows in September 2018.

Tiny Troopers is a top-down squad-based multidirectional shooter developed by Finnish studio Kukouri Mobile Entertainment and published by Chillingo, Iceberg Interactive and Game Troopers. It was released on 7 June 2012 for iOS and on 24 August 2012 for PC. The game is available on iOS, Android, Windows, OS X and Windows Phone. The game puts you in command of a team of troopers (soldiers) which are guided through various objectives in 30 levels of increasing difficulty.
