Kirk Campbell (born March 22, 1986) is an American college football coach, currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of Michigan. He was previously the offensive coordinator for Old Dominion, also coaching at Penn State.

Personal

Campbell was born in 1986 to Kevin and Cindy Campbell. The youngest of three boys. His older brothers are Kevin Campbell and Kellen Campbell. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended West Allegheny Senior High School. He attended Mercyhurst University, where he played football as a wide receiver. Campbell graduated in 2008 with a degree in communications. He also earned a masters degree in business administration and management from Tiffin University, graduating in 2012. On June 30,2017, Campbell married Lauren (Schiefelbein) Campbell a graphic designer. He and his wife have two daughters, Riley and Kinsley. [1]

Coaching career

Campbell began his coaching career as graduate assistant at West Virginia Wesleyan College from 2009 to 2010. He then coached the wide receivers and tight ends at Tiffin in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, he was the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Alderson Broaddus University. He spent five months during the offseason as the head coach at Alderson Broaddus before taking a job at Penn State as an offensive analyst, where he spent 3 seasons from 2017 to 2019. [1]

Campbell was hired in January 2020 to serve as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Old Dominion. [2] He held that position from 2020 to 2021. Campbell was let go by Old Dominion in November 2021. [3]

Campbell joined the staff at Michigan as an offensive analyst for the 2022 season. [1] He was promoted in January 2023 to serve as the program's quarterbacks coach. [4] He helped coach J. J. McCarthy and Michigan to a national championship. [5]

On February 2, 2024, he was promoted to offensive coordinator at Michigan. [6]

Todd Robert Monken is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He is also the former offensive coordinator for the University of Georgia, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oklahoma State University and Eastern Michigan University, as well as the former head coach at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Prior to coming to Georgia Tech, Patenaude was the offensive coordinator at Columbia University, Georgetown University, Coastal Carolina University, and Temple University, where he produced multiple All-Americans. Patenaude also served as the head football coach at University of New Haven for two seasons, from 2002 to 2003, before the program was temporarily discontinued.

Mike Yurcich is an American football coach who most recently served as offensive coordinator at Penn State. He was the offensive coordinator at the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 prior to Penn State. He was the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the Ohio State University for the 2019 season. Yurcich was the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State University from 2013 to 2018. He was previously the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Saint Francis, Edinboro, and Shippensburg. Yurcich also spent some time at Indiana as a graduate assistant.

Tyler Bowen is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Virginia Tech Hokies football. He previously served as the tight ends coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL), an assistant coach at Penn State University, University of Maryland, College Park, Fordham University and Towson University.

Ricky Rahne is an American football coach and former player who is currently the head coach at Old Dominion University. He played college football at Cornell.

Travis Everhart is an American college football coach. He is the offensive line coach for Morehead State University, a position he has held since 2024. He was the head football coach for Alderson Broaddus University, a position he held from 2020 to 2022 when the school ended all athletic programs. He previously coached for Capital, California (PA), Tiffin, Unioto High School, South Dakota Mines, Louisburg, Hiram, Kent State, West Virginia Tech, Point, Charleston, Fort Valley State, West Virginia State, and Fairmont State. He played college football for Capital as a nose tackle and long snapper.


Christian Taylor is an American football coach who is currently the offensive coordinator and running backs coach for the William & Mary Tribe football team.
