Knobs is an unincorporated community in Monroe County, West Virginia, United States. Knobs is northwest of Union.
Bald Knob is a city in White County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,897 at the 2010 census. Located at the intersection of two of the state's natural regions, Bald Knob is often promoted as "where the Ozarks meet the Delta". Bald Knob is known for its yearly Home Fest held during Mother's Day weekend. It was once known as the leading strawberry producer in the world in the 1950s. Bald Knob was established in 1881.
Knob Noster is a city in Johnson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,709 at the 2010 census. It is located adjacent to and closely associated with Whiteman Air Force Base. Knob Noster State Park is nearby.

Shenandoah Mountain is a mountain ridge approximately 73 miles (117 km) long in Virginia and West Virginia. The steep, narrow, sandstone-capped ridge extends from northern Bath County, Virginia to southern Hardy County, West Virginia. Along the way, its crest defines the borders between Highland and Augusta counties, Virginia, and between Pendleton County, West Virginia, and Rockingham County, Virginia. The name comes from the Iroquoian word for 'deer'. Its high point is 4397’/1340 m Reddish Knob along the Virginia/West Virginia border.
Mill Creek Mountain is a continuous mountain ridge that runs northeast through Hampshire and Hardy counties in the Eastern Panhandle region of the U.S. state of West Virginia. Rising to its greatest elevation of 2,650 feet (808 m) at High Knob, Mill Creek is a folded mountain ridge, belonging to the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians. Mill Creek Mountain forms the western edge of the South Branch Potomac River Valley and is named for Mill Creek that carves through it at Mechanicsburg Gap allowing the Northwestern Turnpike to pass through as well. Along with Sawmill Ridge, Mill Creek Mountain forms the Trough along the South Branch.

Dorsey Knob is a mountain summit located off U.S. Route 119 at the southern edge of Morgantown in Monongalia County, West Virginia, United States. Dorsey Knob is contained within a park spanning 71 acres that features the mountain's landmark Sky Rock. The top of Sky Rock is at an altitude of 1,398 feet (426 m), rising nearly 600 feet above the surrounding landscape. It overlooks the Monongahela River and the Appalachian Mountains. Also located in the park is Dorsey's Knob Lodge, operated by Boparc, Morgantown's municipal park authority.
Allegheny Mountain is a major mountain ridge in the southern range of the Allegheny Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountains. It forms the Eastern Continental Divide along part of its course and also serves as part of the Virginia–West Virginia state line.
Roan Mountain is a 6,285 ft (1,916 m) mountain straddling the North Carolina/Tennessee border in the Unaka Range of the Southern Appalachian Mountains in the Southeastern United States. The range's highpoint, Roan is clad in a dense stand of Southern Appalachian spruce-fir forest, and includes the world's largest natural rhododendron garden, and the longest stretch of grassy bald in the Appalachian range. The Roan Highlands also contain the highest quality remaining stretch of Fraser fir forest throughout the tree's entire range. The Cherokee National Forest and Pisgah National Forest converge atop the mountain, with Roan Mountain State Park located near its northern base. The Appalachian Trail traverses most of the Roan's crest. The Roan High Knob Shelter is the highest back-country shelter on the entire 2,174-mile (3,499 km) trail.
Waterrock Knob is a mountain peak in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is the highest peak in the Plott Balsams and is the 16th-highest mountain in the Eastern United States.
Black Balsam Knob, also known as Black Balsam Bald, is in the Pisgah National Forest southwest of Asheville, North Carolina, near milepost 420 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is the second highest mountain in the Great Balsam Mountains. The Great Balsams are within the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are part of the Appalachian Mountains. It is the 23rd highest of the 40 mountains in North Carolina over 6000 feet.
Bickle Knob is a mountain summit located east of Elkins in Randolph County, West Virginia, USA. Easily accessible during warm-weather months, Bickle Knob is also home to one of the few remaining observation towers in Monongahela National Forest.
Trischman Knob el. 8,573 feet (2,613 m) is an isolated summit along the Continental Divide on the Madison Plateau in Yellowstone National Park. The summit is located approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of the Bechler River trail just south of Madison Lake, the source of the Firehole River. The summit was named in 1962 by Assistant Chief Ranger Willam S. Chapman for Harry Trischman (1886–1950). Trischman came to Yellowstone in 1899 with his parents. His father was the post carpenter at Fort Yellowstone. Trischman worked as a U.S. Army scout and in 1916 became one of the first park rangers. He worked as a ranger in Yellowstone until his retirement in 1945. Trischman Knob was one of his favorite backcountry haunts.
Douglas Knob el. 8,507 feet (2,593 m) is an isolated mountain peak in the southwest section of Yellowstone National Park. Located just east of the Littler Fork of the Bechler River at the southern extent of the Madison Plateau, Douglas Knob is named for Joseph O. Douglas. In 1962, then Assistant Chief Ranger, William S. Chapman named the summit for Douglas who was an early Park Ranger. In 1921, Douglas was the Assistant Chief Ranger as well as the park's chief Buffalo Keeper. The summit is less than .25 miles (0.40 km) east of the Bechler River trail.
Spruce Mountain, located in eastern West Virginia, is the highest ridge of the Allegheny Mountains. The whale-backed ridge extends for only 16 miles (26 km) from northeast to southwest, but several of its peaks exceed 4,500 feet (1,400 m) in elevation. The summit, Spruce Knob, is the highest Allegheny Mountain point both in the state and the entire range, which spans four states.
