Konaran (Persian : كناران‎, also Romanized as Konārān and Kanārān; also known as Konārū)^[1] is a village in Sirch Rural District, Shahdad District, Kerman County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 18, in 5 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Sirch Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Shahdad District, Kerman County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,600, in 676 families. The rural district has 14 villages.

Shahdad District is a district (bakhsh) in Kerman County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,333, in 3,742 families. The District has two cities: Shahdad and Anduhjerd. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Anduhjerd Rural District, Sirch Rural District, and Takab Rural District.
