La Cantera Formation (Argentina)

The La Cantera Formation is a Late Aptian, [1] geologic formation in Argentina. [2] Fossil theropod tracks have been reported from the formation. [3] The formation, deposited under lacustrine conditions, also has provided fossil plants, insects, fish and gastropods. [4] [5]
