La Cruz is a town and seat of the municipality of La Cruz, in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua. As of 2010, the town of La Cruz had a population of 1,671,up from 1,318 as of 2005.

She spent much of her career working in the United States and several Latin American countries. Leila Cobo of Billboard magazine once said "Cruz is indisputably the best known and most influential female figure in the history of Cuban and Latin music". She was an ambassador for the variety and vitality of the music of her native Havana, and after the Cuban revolution she became a symbol of artistic freedom for Cuban American exiles. She died of brain cancer in 2003.

Beside the church there is a place called the PLAZA were you can go to socialize with friends and meet new ones. The music they hear is Banda and Mariachi.
Puerto de la Cruz is a city and municipality in the northern part of the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It was formerly known by its English translation, "Port of the Cross", although now it is known in all languages by its Spanish name. It is located on the north coast, 4 km (2 mi) northwest of La Orotava, and 30 km (19 mi) west of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The TF-5 motorway passes through the municipality.
