Lahıc (also, Lagich and Laidzh; Avar : Лагьиж) is a village and municipality in the Zaqatala Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 1,954. The municipality consists of the villages of Lahıc and Sabunçu. [1]

Avar or, also known as Avaric, is a language that belongs to the Avar–Andic group of the Northeast Caucasian family primarily spoken in Dagestan.
