Leonardsville Township is a township in Traverse County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 150 at the 2000 census.
Leonardsville Township was organized in 1881, and named for Patrick Leonard, an early settler. [3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 38.5 square miles (100 km2), all of it land.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 150 people, 48 households, and 39 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.9 people per square mile (1.5/km2). There were 54 housing units at an average density of 1.4/sq mi (0.5/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 99.33% White, and 0.67% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.33% of the population.
There were 48 households, out of which 43.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.9% were married couples living together, and 18.8% were non-families. 16.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.13 and the average family size was 3.49.
