A. P. Kleinschmidt, a former LISD superintendent, is the father of current State Representative Tim Kleinschmidt from District 17 (Lee, Bastrop, Caldwell, Gonzales, and Karnes counties). The younger Kleinschmidt is an attorney in Giddings. [2]
