Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) is a public school district based in Pflugerville, Texas (USA). The District encompasses approximately ninety-five square miles and includes all or part of six municipalities including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock. [1] As of 2013 [update] PISD covers 10.7 square miles (28 km2) of land within the City of Austin, making up 3.4% of the city's territory. [2]

In 2011, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. [5] In 2014, the district installed solar panels at 11 of its schools. [6]

Eanes Independent School District (EISD) is a school district headquartered in unincorporated Travis County, Texas (USA), in Greater Austin. Its enrollment is about 7,814 students, distributed among six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. All nine schools are rated Exemplary - the highest designation possible - in the State of Texas 2009 accountability ratings, marking the second consecutive year for that accomplishment. The district's overall state is Exemplary, making Eanes ISD one of just two 5A districts in the state to receive that designation in 2009. Only 9.5 percent of districts statewide are rated exemplary. McNeil High School is a public secondary school in an unincorporated area in both Travis and Williamson counties, near Austin, Texas, United States. Serving freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The school is part of the Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD), with admission primarily based on the locations of students' homes in the district. Four middle schools feed into McNeil: Cedar Valley, Chisholm Trail, Pearson Ranch and Deerpark. The school colors are navy blue, forest green, and white, and the mascot is the Maverick.
William B. Travis High School, known simply as Travis High School, is a public high school in Pecan Grove, Fort Bend County, Texas. Located off Grand Parkway and in Houston's extraterritorial jurisdiction, the school is Fort Bend Independent School District's (FBISD) tenth high school and the largest school by enrollment in the district. Opened in 2006, Travis holds a Richmond, Texas address although the school do not serve any part of the city. The school serves part of Pecan Grove, part of Aliana, and part of New Territory. Travis is considered one of the most racially diverse public high schools in the state.
