The Germania Insurance Amphitheater (originally the Tower Amphitheater, then Austin360 Amphitheater) called for sponsorship reasons, is an outdoor amphitheatre that is part of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) located in Austin, Texas, USA. The venue opened in November 2012 with a capacity of 14,000. There are 6,700 fixed reserved seats.[4] Another 1,700 seats can be configured on the stage-front floor or alternately configured for standing room for 2,300. The remaining general admission spots are on a sloping grass area behind the reserved seats.[5] The Amphitheater won the Best New Major Concert Venue Award by Pollstar in 2013.[6] It has been recognized as a Modern Steel Construction in 2015 by the American Institute of Steel Construction winning the 2015 IDEAS2 Awards.[7][8]
On July 23, 2012, COTA announced a booking agreement with Live Nation to book major concerts at an open air amphitheater to be built at the base of the observation tower. Designed by Miró Rivera Architects, the venue opened in April 2013 with a concert by Kenny Chesney.
The venue was originally going to be called Tower Amphitheater, but under a deal closed in March 2013, was renamed to Austin360 Amphitheater, with naming rights sold to the entertainment/events website associated with the Austin American-Statesman.[9] Beginning January 1, 2020, COTA renamed the venue the Germania Insurance Amphitheater under a seven-year deal with the Brenham, Texas based insurance company.[10]

COVID-19 Restrictions forced Tame Impala to change venue from Frank Erwin Center as Walk the Moon are scheduled to play at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater, that same date. Tame Impala didn't agree with not having mask mandates in the Frank Erwin Center citing that it is dangerous because the risk of having COVID-19 would be high.

The Germania Insurance Super Stage is a temporary stage used for concerts that exceed the 14,000 capacity of the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. The Super Stage is mainly used for the F1 Concerts and the big acts. It is located in the infield of Circuit of the Americas between Turn 11 and Turn 12. ESPN built the Super Stage for the X Games Austin 2015.[12]
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheater in the western United States near Morrison, Colorado, approximately ten miles (16 km) southwest of Denver. It is owned and operated by the city of Denver. In addition to several other large sandstone formations nearby, the venue is best recognized by its two massive monoliths, named "Ship Rock" and "Creation Rock", as well as the smaller "Stage Rock", which together flank its 9,525 capacity seating area and naturally form the amphitheater. While the venue is primarily known for hosting concerts and music festivals, other events of various types and sizes are held throughout the year.
Universal Amphitheatre was an indoor amphitheatre located in Los Angeles, California within Universal City. It was built as an outdoor venue, opening in the summer of 1972 with a production of Jesus Christ Superstar. It was remodeled and converted into an indoor theatre in 1982 to improve acoustics. The amphitheater closed on September 6, 2013 and was demolished for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Shoreline Amphitheatre is an outdoor amphitheater located in Mountain View, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The venue has a capacity of 22,500, with 6,500 reserved seats and 16,000 general admission on the lawn. When the parking lot is utilized for festival stages, the total capacity of the venue can reach 30,000. Pine Knob Music Theatre is an outdoor amphitheater located in Independence Township, Michigan, approximately 40 miles (64 km) northwest of Detroit. Built by the Nederlander Organization in the early 1970s, it is known as "Pine Knob Music Theatre" due to its proximity to the nearby Pine Knob ski area and golf course.
The Pacific Amphitheatre is an amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, Orange County, California. The amphitheatre is located on the grounds of the OC Fair & Event Center. Juan Miró is a Spanish-American architect. He is Director of the Studio Mexico Program and a professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Professor Miró has directed Studio Mexico since 1998, a program that affords students the opportunity to travel to and explore Mexican culture through the study of architecture, drawing, and design. Austin Bold FC was an American professional soccer team located in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2017, the team made its debut in the USL Championship in 2019. In 2021, Austin Bold FC announced it would be moving to Fort Worth, Texas leaving Circuit of the Americas at the end of the season but may have to wait until 2023, depending on the construction of their stadium. As of August 2024, the team remains inactive.
The IndyCar Classic was an IndyCar Series race that was held at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. The only running of the race took place on March 24, 2019, and was won by Colton Herta. In 2020, the race was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was not included on the 2021 IndyCar Series schedule.
The EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix is a NASCAR Cup Series stock car race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Introduced in 2021, the race was one of seven road course dates on the Cup Series schedule that year.
