Libby Township is a township in Aitkin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 45 as of the 2010 census. [3]
Libby Township was named for Mark Libby, a fur trader in the 19th century. [4]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.1 square miles (93.5 km2), of which 34.7 square miles (90.0 km2) is land and 1.4 square miles (3.5 km2), or 3.76%, is water. [3]
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 47 people, 25 households, and 15 families residing in the township. The population density was 1.4 people per square mile (0.5/km2). There were 85 housing units at an average density of 2.5/sq mi (0.9/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
