Liskeard South and Dobwalls (Cornish : Lyskerrys Soth ha Fosow Dobb) is an electoral division of Cornwall in the United Kingdom and elects one member to sit on Cornwall Council. The current councillor is Jane Pascoe, a member of the Conservative Party. [1]
Liskeard South and Dobwalls was also the name of a smaller electoral division on Cornwall Council between 2009 and 2013, when it was replaced with Liskeard West and Dobwalls. [2]

The division covers the settlements of East Taphouse, Doublebois, St Pinnock, Dobwalls, Herodsfoot, St Keyne, Duloe, Treninnick, Looe and southwestern Liskeard. It borders St Cleer & Menheniot to the north and east, Liskeard Central and Looe East & Deviock to the east, Looe West, Pelynt, Lansallos & Lanteglos to the south, as well as Lostwithiel & Lanreath to the west. The 2009 division was much smaller than the current division. [5] It covered the south west of Liskeard, including the suburb of Moorswater, and the village of Dobwalls. [5] The Liskeard West and Dobwalls division that replaced it was very similar in size. [2]

Looe is a coastal town and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, with a population of 5,280 at the 2011 census.
Liskeard is a small ancient stannary and market town in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of Plymouth, 14 miles (23 km) west of the Devon border, and 12 miles (20 km) east of Bodmin. The Bodmin Moor lies to the north-west of the town. The total population of the town at the 2011 census was 11,366
The River Looe is a river in south-east Cornwall, which flows into the English Channel at Looe. It has two main branches, the East Looe River and the West Looe River. The eastern branch has its source near St Cleer only 0.31 miles (0.5 km) away from the Golitha Falls on the River Fowey, and flows south, passing close to the western outskirts of Liskeard. The western branch has its source near Dobwalls.
