Newquay Treviglas covers the north east of the town of Newquay, as well as the villages of St Columb Minor and Porth. [3] The division covers 171 hectares in total. [4]

From 1973 to 2005 elections were for Cornwall County Council, with the first election for the new unitary Cornwall Council held in June 2009.
