Newquay Central (Cornish: Tewynblustri Kres) [1] is an electoral division of Cornwall in the United Kingdom and returns one member to sit on Cornwall Council. The current Councillor is Geoff Brown, a Liberal Democrat and the Portfolio Holder for Transport on the council. [2]

Newquay Central covers the centre of the town of Newquay, including Towan Head and Fistral Beach. [3] The division covers 154 hectares in total. [4]

Cornwall Council in England, UK, was established in 2009 and is elected every four years. From 1973 to 2005 elections were for Cornwall County Council, with the first election for the new unitary Cornwall Council held in June 2009.
