The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York. The team is a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since their inception in 1970, the Sabres have reached two Stanley Cup Finals (1975 and 1999).
