Claremont McKenna College (CMC) is a private liberal arts college in Claremont, California. It has a curricular emphasis on government, economics, public affairs, finance, and international relations. CMC is a member of the Claremont Colleges consortium.

Harry Victor Jaffa was an American political philosopher, historian, columnist, and professor. He was a professor emeritus at Claremont McKenna College, Claremont Graduate University, and was a distinguished fellow of the Claremont Institute. Robert P. Kraynak says his "life work was to develop an American application of Leo Strauss's revival of natural-right philosophy against the relativism and nihilism of our times".

The Claremont Review of Books (CRB) is a quarterly review of politics and statesmanship published by the conservative Claremont Institute. A typical issue consists of several book reviews and a selection of essays on topics of conservatism and political philosophy, history, and literature. Authors who are regularly featured in the Review are sometimes nicknamed "Claremonsters."

Michael Martin Uhlmann was an American political scientist and high-ranking government official. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Robert Day School</span> Economics school at Claremont McKenna College

The Robert Day School of Economics and Finance (RDS) at Claremont McKenna College is an economics school, and the only graduate program at Claremont McKenna College. The Robert Day School emphasizes coursework that blends theory and practice. The undergraduate programs offer majors in economics and economics-accounting, and a sequence in financial economics. RDS also offers a specialized full-time master's degree in finance as well as administering the Robert Day Scholars Program. In contrast to any other liberal arts college, the offerings include a broad spectrum of core and elective courses in finance and accounting. The course is designed to develop the individual student's analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

John King Roth is an American-based author, editor, and the Edward J. Sexton Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) in Claremont, California. Roth taught at CMC from 1966 through 2006, where he was the founding director of the Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights, which is now the Mgrublian Center for Human Rights. Best known for his contributions to Holocaust and genocide studies, he is the author or editor of more than fifty books. In 1988, he was named the U.S. National Professor of the Year by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Kenneth P. Miller is a professor of Government at Claremont McKenna College, specializing in state politics, policy, and law.
