List of ECAC Hockey All-Tournament Team

The ECAC Hockey All-Tournament Team is an honor bestowed at the conclusion of the conference tournament to the players judged to have performed the best during the championship. Currently the team is composed of three forwards, two defensemen and one goaltender with additional players named in the event of a tie. Voting for the honor is conducted by the head coaches of each member team once the tournament has completed and any player regardless of their team's finish is eligible. [1]

The All-Tournament Team was first awarded after the premier championship in 1962 as was a Second-Team. [2] This format continued until 1972 after which the All-Tournament team was abolished until 1988 tournament when only one All-Tournament Team was named. Since then it has continued unchanged. ECAC Hockey US collegiate ice hockey conference

ECAC Hockey is one of the six conferences that compete in NCAA Division I ice hockey. The conference used to be affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, a consortium of over 300 colleges in the eastern United States. This relationship ended in 2004; however, the ECAC abbreviation was retained in the name of the hockey conference. ECAC Hockey is the only ice hockey conference with identical memberships in both its women's and men's divisions.

Yale Bulldogs mens ice hockey

The Yale Bulldogs men's ice hockey team represents Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and is the oldest collegiate ice hockey team in the United States. The Bulldogs compete in the Ivy League and the ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL) and play their home games at Ingalls Rink, also called the Yale Whale. The current head coach is Keith Allain, who led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League championship in his first year as head coach. Allain is assisted by former QU/UND goaltender, Josh Siembida. On April 13, 2013, the Bulldogs shut out Quinnipiac 4–0 to win their first NCAA Division I Championship.

2008–09 NCAA Division I mens ice hockey season

The 2008–09 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on October 10, 2008 and concluded with the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game on April 11, 2009 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.. Over the course of the season, five teams achieved the nation's #1 ranking, with Boston University finishing the season as the top-ranked team after winning the national championship tournament. This was the 62nd season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held and is the 114th year overall where an NCAA school fielded a team.

Rebecca Johnston Canadian ice hockey player

Rebecca Anne Johnston is a Canadian ice hockey player for the Calgary section of the PWHPA and the Canadian national team. She played four seasons at Cornell University and was selected second overall in the 2012 CWHL Draft by the Calgary Inferno.

The Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey program represented Clarkson University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Golden Knights entered the season following their second Frozen Four appearance the previous season.

The Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey program represented Clarkson University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Golden Knights entered the season as the defending national champions as well as the ECAC regular season and tournament champions. Loren Gabel Canadian ice hockey player

Loren Gabel is a Canadian women's ice hockey player, formerly of the Clarkson Golden Knights. She made her debut for the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2018 4 Nations Cup. In March 2019, she was the recipient of the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.

Terrance A. Yurkiewicz was a Canadian ice hockey goaltender who was a two-time All-American for Clarkson.

Henry Andrews "Harry" Orr was a Canadian ice hockey defenseman who was an All-American for Cornell.
