The list of East Asian people by net worth is based on an annual assessment of wealth and assets compiled and published by Forbes magazine in 2019. The region of East Asia had 508 billionaires in the same year. 324 are from Mainland China, 71 from Hong Kong, 40 from Taiwan and South Korea each, 32 from Japan and 1 from Macau.

In 2014, it was sold to a Hong Kong-based investment group, Integrated Whale Media Investments.
