<i>Indonesian Idol</i> Indonesian singing competition

Indonesian Idol is a reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by RCTI Production Team and FremantleMedia Asia. The show began airing on RCTI in March 2004 and became one of the most popular shows in the history of Indonesian television. Part of the Idol franchise, it was as a spin-off from the UK show Pop Idol.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Krisdayanti</span> Indonesian singer, actress and politician

Kris Dayanti, often written mononymously as Krisdayanti, is an Indonesian singer and actress. She is the younger sister of Yuni Shara, another Indonesian singer. She is the daughter of Trenggono and Rachma Widadiningsih. At the age of 9, she sang a song for the movie Megaloman. Three years later, she released her first album, Biasa Saja, together with the soundtrack album for Catatan Si Emon. While still in high school, Krisdayanti participated in numerous singing and modeling competitions. In 1991, she became one of the finalists in the GADIS magazine's cover model search, called GADIS Sampul.

Titi Dwi Jayati, popularly known as Titi DJ, is an Indonesian pop singer, songwriter and beauty pageant titleholder. She was a judge on Indonesian Idol from seasons 1 to 5 and season 8, Golden Memories Vol.1 and 2, Q Academy season 1, and The Voice Indonesia season 3 and 4. She is known for the song "Sang Dewi". She was the first Indonesian female singer invited to perform a concert at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and the first Indonesian singer to perform seven concerts in four days. She was also the first female coach to win The Voice Indonesia in 2019. In the 80's she widely known for the song Ekspresi (Expression), the jazz fusion hit she collaborated with Indonesian musician Indra Lesmana in 1988. In the 1990s released the song Bahasa Kalbu. In the 2000s she released the songs Sang Dewi, Matamu, Separuh Hidupku, and Hanya Cinta Yang Bisa. In the early 2010s she released the song "Jangan Biarkan", covering Indonesian singer Diana Nasution. The television channel, RCTI, hosted the "Jangan Biarkan Concert" with her album "Titi to Diana". In the 2020s she released the song Show Off Your Colors, in collaboration with Eka Gustiwana Sarah Fajira, and Ashanty. Her latest release was the song "To Lose" as an answer to a netizen challenge, and she also released a ballad version called "Still Learning".

Dewa 19 is an Indonesian rock band from Surabaya, East Java, led by singer-songwriter Ahmad Dhani. Along with God Bless and Slank, they are dubbed as one of the greatest rock bands in the history of Indonesian popular music. The band was formed in 1986. There have been a number of changes to the lineup that ended in their disbandment in 2011, but then they regrouped in 2019 for comeback reunion shows.

The first single from this album "Cinta Atau Uang" was released in December 2009. The album was nominated for "Best Pop Solo Album" award in SCTV Music Awards 2011.

The letter "A" that's replaced by the star symbol was inspired by the name of their management, Star signal. Currently, SM*SH is also working under the "Ancora Music" label since the mid 2011. Their 1st studio album that was released world wide is titled SM*SH. Their well known singles, include "I Heart You", "Senyum Semangat", & "Ada Cinta". SM*SH has changed the Indonesian music industry by popularizing the boyband culture in the year 2011. Now, the Indonesian music industry is dominated by various boybands & also girlbands. Up until recently, SM*SH had received 8 awards & 2 nominations in 2011, including 2 awards from the Indonesia Kids Choice Awards 2011.

Harmoni Cinta is an album by Gita Gutawa. It was released in 2009 by Sony Music Indonesia, with a part of the sales used to send poor students to school. Produced over a period of nine months, it was a collaboration between Gutawa and numerous Indonesian musicians, including her father Erwin, Melly Goeslaw, and Glenn Fredly.

7icons is an Indonesian girl group formed on 28 October 28, 2010. The group originally consisted of seven members: A.Tee, Gc, Linzy, Mezty, Natly, PJ, and Vanila who departed in 2013; T-Sha was then added to the group after an audition. The group was disbanded in 2014 and reunited in 2020 with members Gc, Mezty, PJ, Vanila, and T-Sha.

Tiara Anugrah Eka Setyo Andini is an Indonesian singer and actress. She was the runner-up of the tenth season of Indonesian Idol which was broadcast by RCTI in 2019–2020. In Idol, she was known as the girl who received a titanium ticket from one of the judges. She is the only titanium ticket recipient to ever make it through to the final round in the history of Indonesian Idol. She was awarded the "Best Newcomer" from 23rd Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards, and "Best New Asian Artist Indonesia" from 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards. She also won the SCTV Music Awards for two consecutive years as "Most Popular Female Singer" in 2022 and 2023. She was nominated for the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards as Best Asia act.
