List of Singaporean electoral divisions (1972–1976)

The following is a list of Singaporean electoral divisions from 1972 to 1976 that served as constituencies that elected Members of Parliament (MPs) to the 3rd Parliament of Singapore in the 1972 Singaporean general elections. [1] The number of seats in Parliament had increased by 7 to 65 seats.

West Coast Highway, Singapore

West Coast Highway is a major arterial road in Singapore which links Jurong industrial estate and Clementi New Town to the city. It is an at-grade road from its junction with Pandan Loop and West Coast Road to its interchange with Pasir Panjang Road, where it becomes a grade-separated viaduct; the viaduct merges with Keppel Road before its interchange with Ayer Rajah Expressway. The total length of the highway is 11 km. The viaduct is newer than the at-grade section, having been completed in 2006.

The Marine Parade Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) located in the central, eastern and north-eastern areas of Singapore. The constituency consists of a section of Bedok, Chai Chee, Geylang, Kaki Bukit, Kallang, Kembangan, Marine Parade, Mountbatten, Ubi, Serangoon and Hougang. There are a total of 5 divisions in this GRC: Marine Parade, Geylang Serai, Braddell Heights, Joo Chiat and Kembangan-Chai Chee. The current MPs are Tan Chuan Jin, Edwin Tong, Seah Kian Peng, Tan See Leng and Mohd Fahmi Aliman of the constituency.

West Coast Group Representation Constituency Electoral ward in Singapore

The West Coast Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency located in the western area of Singapore. The five divisions are Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh, West Coast, Boon Lay, Nanyang and Telok Blangah. West Coast GRC covers the areas of Ayer Rajah, Dover, Pasir Panjang, the south-western area, West Coast, Jurong, Jurong Island, Sentosa, Telok Blangah, Tuas and much of Singapore's southern & western territorial waters and offshore islands in the area. The current MPs are S Iswaran, Desmond Lee, Foo Mee Har, Rachel Ong and Ang Wei Neng of the constituency.
