The 1977–78 season was the sixth season of Mersin İdmanyurdu (MİY) football team in First League, the first level division in Turkey. They have relegated to second division at the end of the season. It was the second relegation from first division after 1973–74. Team's bad performance continued in Cup matches as well.

Hunting Season is a 2010 Turkish drama film, written and directed by Yavuz Turgul, which stars Şener Şen and Cem Yılmaz as two policemen who team up with a rookie to investigate a murder case. The film, which went on nationwide general release across Turkey on 3 December 2010, was one of the highest grossing Turkish films of 2010 and was released in six European countries in addition to Turkey.

The 4th Yeşilçam Awards, presented by the Turkish Foundation of Cinema and Audiovisual Culture (TÜRSAK) and Beyoğlu Municipality, honored the best Turkish films of 2010 and took place at the conclusion of the 4th Yeşilçam Week festival on March 28, 2011, at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Hall in Istanbul, Turkey.
