The Ambassador of South Africa to Peru is the official representative of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of Peru. The resident ambassador in Lima was also accredited to Ecuador.
Both countries reestablished relations in 1994, and have maintained them since. [lower-alpha 1] Peru opened an embassy in Pretoria in 1994 [lower-alpha 2] and South Africa maintained an embassy in Lima from 1998 to 2021, [3] being since accredited from its embassy in Santiago. [4]

Peru–South Africa relations refers to the current and historical relations between the states of Peru and South Africa. Both countries established relations in 1974 and reestablished them in July 1993, after the end of Apartheid.
Namibia–Peru relations refers to the current and historical relations between the Republic of Namibia and the Republic of Peru. Both countries are members of the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and the United Nations.
Respecto a Sudáfrica, a los pocos días de haber asumido el cargo, el Canciller Wagner anunció haber cerrado el Consulado del Perú en la Ciudad del Cabo, como una demostración de condena al apartheid y de rechazo al neo-colonialismo y la discriminación racial. Asimismo, en 1985 el gobierno peruano condenó en Naciones Unidas el ataque realizado por fuerzas sudafricanas contra supuestas bases de guerrilleros en Angola y luego exigió ante el Consejo de Seguridad la imposición de severas sanciones contra el gobierno de Sudáfrica por su política de discriminación racial.

This was the first trade mission organised by the DTI to Peru. Organisation was facilitated by the opening of a South African embassy in Lima with Johan Killian at the helm.
