County routes in Yates County, New York, are signed with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices-standard yellow-on-blue pentagon route marker. Route numbers are also posted at junctions on street blade signs that display the standard route marker for a given route inside a yellow square. Even numbered highways run from east to west and are assigned sequentially starting from the northern county line, while odd numbered highways run from north to south and are assigned sequentially starting from the eastern county line at Seneca Lake.

New York State Route 990V (NY 990V) is an east–west reference route in Schoharie County, New York, in the United States. It extends for 6.15 miles (9.90 km) from an intersection with NY 30 in the town of Gilboa to a junction with County Route 18 (CR 18) in the town of Conesville, where the road continues east as CR 3. Reference routes in New York are typically unsigned; however, NY 990V is fully signed with touring route markers. The road is a remnant of New York State Route 342, a route assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York. The NY 342 designation was removed in the late 1940s; however, its former routing from Gilboa to Conesville remained a state highway and became NY 990V when the modern reference route system in New York was created.

New York State Route 295 (NY 295) is a 12.88-mile (20.73 km) state highway in Columbia County, New York, in the United States. It begins at an intersection with NY 66 in the village of Chatham and heads generally easterly to the Massachusetts border in the town of Canaan, where the road becomes Massachusetts Route 295 for another 1.67 miles (2.69 km) to a junction with Route 41 in Richmond, Massachusetts. Route 295 is the highest-numbered Massachusetts state highway, and the only state highway that shares its number with another numbered highway in Massachusetts, this being Interstate 295.

New York State Route 230 (NY 230) is a state highway in the Finger Lakes region of New York in the United States. NY 230 is an east–west highway between the eastern edge of Steuben County to the interior of adjacent Yates County. The western terminus of NY 230 is the community of Keuka in the town of Wayne on the edge of Keuka Lake at NY 54. The eastern terminus is at its junction with NY 14A in the town of Barrington, west of the village of Dundee.
