The 5 July 1962 Stadium, is a football and athletics stadium located in Algiers, Algeria. The stadium was inaugurated in 1972 with a capacity of 95,000. It served as the main stadium of the 1975 Mediterranean Games, the 1978 All-Africa Games, the 2004 Pan Arab Games, and the 2007 All-Africa Games. The stadium was one of two venues for the 1990 African Cup of Nations. It hosted 9 matches of the tournament, including the final, which had a second record attendance of 105,302 spectators. The home team Algeria defeated Nigeria 1–0 in the final to win the tournament. The record attendance is of 110,000 spectators in a friendly match between Algeria and Serbia on 3 March 2010. It also hosted the 2000 African Championships in Athletics. After a formal compliance with current safety standards in 1999, the stadium was reduced to 64,200 capacity, and following a new phase of renovation in 2003. The future capacity will be 80,000 with possible further renovations.

Miloud Hadefi Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Belgaïd, in the Bir El Djir suburb of Oran, Algeria. Completed in 2019, it is used mostly for football matches. It can hold 40,143 spectators. The value of construction work of the stadium was about 142.3 million US$, it is an olympic stadium with the athletics track and it is a part of the Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex which is the first big complex in Algeria exceeding the Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex in Algiers and it is also the first stadium entirely covered in Algeria. The stadium expected to be special for the Algeria national football team with Stade du 5 Juillet and Nelson Mandela Stadium, and also clubs of Oran especially MC Oran.

The Algiers Derby is the name given to matches between MC Alger and USM Alger, both football clubs from Algiers, Algeria. It is the oldest club football derby in Algeria, with the first match being contested in 1940. MC Alger play at the Stade 5 Juillet 1962 and USM Alger at Stade Omar Hammadi. The two clubs have met in every domestic competition, including those held before independence.

New Sétif Stadium is a 50,000-seat stadium planned in Sétif, Algeria. Construction is currently suspended.

The Stade de Luxembourg is the national stadium of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, located in the Luxembourg City quarter of Gasperich. The stadium is host to Luxembourg's national football and rugby teams, as well as the final of the Coupe de Luxembourg, and is listed as a Category 4 stadium by UEFA allowing it to host international matches. Construction on the stadium occurred between September 2017 and July 2021, missing the original 2019 target date for completion. On 1 September 2021, the stadium marked its official opening by hosting its first international match between the Luxembourg and Azerbaijan men's football teams as part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The inauguration ceremony for the stadium took place later that month, on 25 September. The Stade de Luxembourg replaces the outdated Josy Barthel stadium, due for demolition.

In the 2019–20 season, NC Magra competed in the Ligue 1 for the 1st season, as well as the Algerian Cup. On March 15, 2020, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) decided to halt the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Algeria. On July 29, 2020, the LFP declared that season is over and CR Belouizdad to be the champion, the promotion of four teams from the League 2, and scraping the relegation for the current season.

The history of Union Sportive Médina d'Alger from 2010 to the present day, commonly referred to as USM Alger or simply USMA, is an Algerian professional association football club based in Algiers, whose first team play in the highest tier of Algerian football, the Ligue 1. Established on 5 July 1937. He won the first trophy in 1963 against MC Alger and reached the final of the cup. 17 time, a record, including five consecutive times from 1969 to 1973 and won eight first time in 1981 against ASM Oran and last against MC Alger in 2013 also made the USMA Super Cup twice either on the level of the Continental USM Alger did not achieve any title and the best result is the 2015 CAF Champions League Final The team landed to the second division of several times the first from 1965 to 1969 and, latest of which, the longest from 1990 to 1995 USMA won the UAFA Club Cup in 2013 against the Al-Arabi Club Kuwaiti 3–2 on aggregate as the first international title but is not recognized by FIFA.

The 2024–25 season, is JS Saoura's 12th consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. In addition to the domestic league, JS Saoura are participating in the Algerian Cup. On June 27, 2024, The federal office approved the calendar for the 2024–25 Ligue 1 season with the aim of ending on May 31, 2025. The first round is scheduled for September 14, this delay is motivated both by an extended end of the 2023–24 season but also by the holding of early presidential elections which will take place on September 7, 2024. However, the Ligue de Football Professionnel decided to postpone the start of the Ligue 1 by a week, on September 21.

New Béchar Stadium is a new multi-purpose all-seater stadium currently under construction in Béchar, Algeria. Located 7km north of the commune of Béchar and four km from Boudghene Ben Ali Lotfi Airport. The Directorate of Public Facilities of the Wilaya of Bechar designated, on June 25, 2024, the Algerian subsidiary of the Turkish construction group Dekinsan to build an Olympic park in Bechar.
