List of football stadiums in Ghana

The following is a list of football stadiums in Ghana , with a capacity of at least 5,000 spectators. Some stadiums used for other purposes like athletics, concerts, cultural events, politics and rugby union. [1] The 10,000-capacity UG Sports Stadium in Accra is known as the main rugby union stadium in Ghana. [2]

The 13th African Games, also known as Accra 2023, were hosted by Ghana from 8–23 March 2024. Despite having Accra as the main host city, the games were held in two sub-host cities: Kumasi and Cape Coast. The games were initially planned to be held in August 2023, however a failure to complete facilities on time and arguments over marketing revenue resulted in the games being delayed to March 2024.

The 2000 CAF Champions League Final was a football tie held over two legs in December 2000. Hearts of Oak of Ghana beat Espérance of Tunisia 5–2.

Arnold Abbey Mensah is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ghanaian Premier League side Accra Great Olympics. A native of Mamprobi in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, he is a graduate of the University of Ghana, legon, where he studied Dental Laboratory Science and played in the school's football team.

Borteyman Sports Complex is a multidisciplinary sport center located in Borteyman, a suburb of Accra, Ghana. It was commissioned by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the President of Ghana on February 13, 2024 ahead of the 13th Africa Games to be hosted in Ghana.

The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE), also known as the technical centre of the Ghana Football Association was built in 2004 through the FIFA Goal Project and handed over to the association in 2008. The Centre is located at Miotso, in the Ningo Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region.
