Nehru Place is a large commercial centre in Delhi, India. Although its importance as a financial centre has declined in recent years, Nehru Place is still a prominent commercial area in South Delhi and houses the headquarters of several Indian firms and rivals with other financial centres in the metropolis like Connaught Place, Bhikaji Cama Place and Rajendra Place.
Lajpat Nagar is a residential and commercial neighborhood in the South East Delhi district of Delhi. It was named in honor of Lala Lajpat Rai and is today most known for the Lajpat Nagar Central Market. This area is not to be confused with the Lajpat Nagar in Ghaziabad in the NCR region.

Delhi and NCR lose nearly 42 crore man-hours every month while commuting between home and office through public transport, due to the traffic congestion. Therefore, serious efforts, including a number of transport infrastructure projects, are under way to encourage usage of public transport in the city.
Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station is a railway station in South Delhi, India. It is under the administrative control of the Delhi Division of the Northern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. It is one of the five main stations in Delhi and handles nearly 250 trains daily The station was named after the Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin. Hazrat Nizamuddin station was upgraded to help relieve congestion at New Delhi railway station and is recommended for first-time travellers, particularly those bound for Agra, as it is less busy and easier to navigate.
South Delhi is an administrative district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India with its headquarters in Saket. Administratively, the district is divided into three subdivisions, Saket, Hauz Khas, and Mehrauli. It is bounded by the Yamuna River to the east, the districts of New Delhi to the north, Faridabad District of Haryana state to the southeast, Gurgaon District of Haryana to the southwest, and South West Delhi to the west.
Delhi Sarai Rohilla railway station is situated about 4 kilometres from old Delhi railway junction in India. It is managed by Delhi Division of Northern Railway zone. Many trains from Delhi to Haryana,Jammu and Kashmir,Punjab, Rajasthan,Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra stop at this station. More than twenty trains including Duronto and AC trains originate at this station.
Duronto Express is a category of long-distance fast trains run by the Indian Railways. Initially, these trains did not have any passenger stops between the origin and the destination except some technical stops, but since January 2016 it is possible to book tickets from those technical stops. These trains were introduced in 2009 and were named 'Duronto', meaning 'speedster' in Bengali, as it was the fastest train of that time, and now second fastest train series, just after Vande Bharat Express and Gatimaan Express.Today, this series of trains regularly gets the second highest priority on Indian Railways and is considered as amongst its most premium trains. Unlike Rajdhani Express, Duronto Express services connect the several metros to other metros, one major state capitals of India to another, and national capital to state capitals. The cost of a Duronto Express is around Rs. 60 crore.
The Delhi Metro is a mass rapid transit (MRT) system which serves Delhi and its adjoining satellite cities, such as Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida and Bahadurgarh, in the National Capital Region of India. The system consists of 10 colour-coded lines serving 256 stations, with a total length of 350.42 kilometres (217.74 mi). It is India's largest and busiest metro rail system and the second-oldest, after the Kolkata Metro. The metro has a mix of underground, at-grade, and elevated stations using broad-gauge and standard-gauge tracks. The metro makes over 4,300 trips daily.
Jangpura is a neighbourhood in South East Delhi district of Delhi. Beginning from the east and moving clockwise, it is bordered by the Mathura Road, Ring Railway line, Silver Oak Park beyond the Defence Colony Flyover, and the Barapulla Nullah. It encompasses the residential areas of Jangpura A and B on either side of the Mathura Road, Jangpura (Bhogal) extending west from the Mathura Road until Jangpura Extension, which in turn extends along the northern side of the Ring Railway line to the east side of the Defence Colony Flyover on Josip Broz Tito Marg. The small colony of Pant Nagar along the Barapulla Nullah is contiguous with Jangpura Extension.
New Delhi railway station is the main railway station of the Indian capital of New Delhi. Platform 1 is located at Paharganj and platform 16 opens up on to the side of Ajmeri Gate. The station is in Central Delhi, about two kilometres (1.2 mi) north of Connaught Place in New Delhi. It is one of the busiest railway stations in the country in terms of train frequency and passenger movement.

Sadar Bazar railway station, with the three-letter station code DSB, is a railway station located in the Sadar Bazar area of Delhi's Central Delhi district. The station, which has four platforms and three radiating lines, is maintained by Northern Railways and has been ranked NSG-4 as per the categorization of Indian Railway stations by commercial importance.

Tilak Bridge railway station is a railway station in New Delhi. Its code is TKJ. The station is part of the Delhi Suburban Railway. The station consists of four platforms. Construction of additional 5th and 6th new railway line is happening between Tilak Bridge and New Delhi to enhance capacity of already saturated tracks. With this three additional platforms have been constructed at Tilak Bridge. This will take the total number of platforms to seven.
The Sarai Kale Khan - Nizamuddin metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. It was opened on 31 December 2018 as part of Phase III of Delhi Metro.
The Delhi Ring railway, a part of Delhi's suburban railway services, is a 35 kilometres (22 mi) circular railway network in Delhi that runs parallel to the Ring Road. It was laid in 1975 primarily to service freight trains that could bypass the crowded and passenger-heavy Old Delhi and New Delhi railway stations. The network was upgraded for the 1982 Asian Games with the introduction of 24 additional services. Its circular route takes trains 90–120 minutes to complete, both clockwise and anti-clockwise via the Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station between 8 am and 7 pm. With a return ticket for the entire journey costing ₹12 (15¢ US), compared to with Delhi Metro, which is around ₹60 (75¢ US), it is preferred by poor and middle-class families. It runs seven clockwise and six anti-clockwise trains at a peak frequency of 60 to 90 minutes during the morning and evening rush hours. Prior to the 2010 Commonwealth Games, seven stations near the sports venues, namely Chanakyapuri, Sarojini Nagar, Inderpuri Halt, Lajpat Nagar, Sewa Nagar, Lodhi Colony and Safdarjung, received a facelift at the cost of ₹3 crore (US$376,000).
The 20945/20946 Ekta Nagar–Hazrat Nizamuddin Gujarat Sampark Kranti Express is a Superfast train belonging to Western Railway zone that runs between Ekta Nagar and Hazrat Nizamuddin in India. It is currently being operated with 20945/20946 train numbers on bi-weekly basis.
