Anguilla is a British overseas territory in the Caribbean. It is one of the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles, lying east of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and directly north of Saint Martin. The territory consists of the main island of Anguilla, approximately 16 miles (26 km) long by 3 miles (4.8 km) wide at its widest point, together with a number of much smaller islands and cays with no permanent population. The territory's capital is The Valley. The total land area of the territory is 35 square miles (91 km2), with a population of approximately 17,400.

The University was originally instituted as an independent external college of the University of London.
Asan Information & Technology Polytechnic College is located in Sinchang-myeon, Asan city, South Chungcheong province, not far from Soonchunhyang University. The current president of the college is Hyun-Suk Jung. Apart from the Department of Information & Communication Systems, the school's other departments are concerned with various aspects of digital design: the school includes departments of multimedia, computer animation, visual communication design, and visual media.

Saint James School of Medicine (SJSM) is a private, international medical school with two basic science campuses, one in British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, and the other in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, it is considered one school with two campuses. Saint James confers upon its graduates the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
Education in Anguilla is compulsory between the ages of 5 and 17. In 1998, the gross primary enrollment rate was 100.7 percent, and the net primary enrollment rate was 98.9 percent. The government has collaborated with UNESCO to develop an Education for All plan that aims to raise educational achievement levels, improve access to quality special education services and provide human resource training for teachers and education managers.
The Islamic Azad University, Khomeyni Shahr Branch (IAUKHSH) is a branch of the Islamic Azad University and is located in Khomeyni Shahr, the north western zone of Isfahan, the cultural capital of Iran. It was established 17 May 1988. The university serves more than 9000 students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It has 530 full and part-time faculty members carrying out education and research in different fields. Due to its geographical location which borders one of the best state universities of Iran, i.e. Isfahan University of Technology, it has made an astonishing opportunity for the students to study in different areas. The admission to university is based on entrance examination and the admission rate is 10%. With over twenty five years of service, this university is now one of the most prominent centers in Isfahan Province and one of the most distinguished ones in higher education in Iran, and with its precise and professional management in a 20-year strategic framework in different research, scientific, cultural and educational fields, it has gained a lot of domestic and foreign recognition. Iaukhsh has been seen in some national and international events and has achieved many considerable awards such as Khwarizmi award in 2009, IMAV 2010 and 2011.
Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School (ALHCS) is the sole government secondary school of Anguilla, in The Valley. As of 2017 it had about 1,062 students. It has two campuses, A and B. Forms 1-2 go to campus B while forms 3-6 go to Campus A. It is named after Albena Lake-Hodge.
Anguilla competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia from April 4 to April 15, 2018. It was Anguilla's 6th appearance at the Commonwealth Games.
The University of the West Indies Open Campus (UWIOC) is a public and distance only, research university headquartered Cave Hill, Barbados. It is one of 5 general autonomous units of the University of the West Indies system. Its main campus is located inside the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, but remains a distinct and separate institution.
