Bali United F.C. Association football team in Indonesia

Bali United Football Club is a professional football club based in Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. The club competes in the Liga 1, the top tier of Indonesian football. Bali United emerged in 2015 as the result of the total rebranding of Indonesia Super League club Putra Samarinda after its new owner relocated the club to Gianyar from Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The rebranded club retained Putra Samarinda's top-tier rights to compete in the 2015 Indonesia Super League season. It only took four years for the club to win its first top-level football championship title in the 2019.

Pertiwi Cup is the main national women's football cup competition in Indonesia, thus the female counterpart to the Piala Indonesia. This competition is managed by women's football board, under supervision of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI), and has been held since 2006.

Women's football in Indonesia is not popular but is mainly played in affluent areas in Indonesia.

Liga 1 (Indonesia) Association football league

Liga 1 is the men's top professional football division of the Indonesian football league system. Administered by the PT Liga Indonesia Baru, Liga 1 is contested by 18 clubs and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Liga 2.

The 2019 Liga 1 Putri season was the inaugural season of Liga 1 Putri, the top-flight Indonesian league for women's association football. The season started on 5 October 2019 and finished with two-legged finals on 22 and 28 December 2019.

The Liga 1 Putri, is the top-flight women's football league in Indonesia. Supervised by the PSSI, the professional league is participated by ten clubs, with each side fielding a team in the Liga 1 men's league. The league's inaugural season began on 5 October 2019.
