Elections for the Constituent Assembly were held in Lithuania between 14 and 16 April 1920. [1] The Lithuanian Christian Democratic Party emerged as the largest party, winning 24 of the 112 seats. [2]

The Lithuanian Union of Political Prisoners and Deportees was a political party in Lithuania between 1990 and 2004. It represented interest of those repressed by the Soviet regime, particularly political prisoners and deportees to Siberia.
An independence referendum was held in the Lithuania on 9 February 1991. It was approved by 93.2% of voters. The number of voters voting "yes" was 76.5% of all registered voters, far exceeding the threshold of 50%. Independence had been declared on 11 March 1990, and was achieved in August 1991.
Parliamentary elections were held in Lithuania on 10 and 11 October 1922. The Lithuanian Christian Democratic Party remained the largest party, winning 15 of the 78 seats in the first Seimas.

The Seimas was subsequently disbanded and Lithuanian Nationalist Union leader Antanas Smetona was appointed President.
