The Little Four Conference was a short-lived IHSAA-sanctioned conference in Central Indiana. The conference began in 1971, as the remaining three Big Four Conference schools joined with local team Eminence, who had been independent since the demise of the Little Eight Conference in 1964. [1] The conference folded when Granville Wells consolidated into Western Boone. Within two years, Eminence would be the only school left from the four teams.

The term Power Five is not defined by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and the origin of the term is unknown. It has been used in its current meaning since at least 2006. The term is also occasionally used in other college sports, although in many non-football sports, most notably basketball, anywhere from six to eight conferences may be considered "high-major".

Northwood High School is located in Pittsboro, Chatham County, North Carolina, United States. The school is the largest of three high schools in Chatham County and is operated by Chatham County Schools. The school's mascot is the Charger and the school colors are gold and green. It is a member of the Big Eight 3A Athletic Conference. It currently serves around 1,024 students. The school receives students primarily from the eastern and northeastern portions of the county, which coincidentally are the fastest growing parts of the county.
Timothy Ray Goad is a former American football defensive tackle. He attended high school at Patrick County High School in Stuart, VA and was a member of the Cougar varsity football team. He played offensive tackle and defensive tackle for the team. After high school, he attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he played on the defensive line. After college, Goad was drafted by the New England Patriots. He made his first professional appearance on September 4, 1988 in a 28–3 Patriots' victory. He played seven seasons in New England. In 1995, he played for the Cleveland Browns, and finished his career with the Baltimore Ravens in 1996. In 1998, Goad became the jackman for the NASCAR team Wood Brothers Racing, while also serving at Petty Enterprises and Kevin Harvick Incorporated, the latter in which he served as pit coach. He also worked as a professional bass fisherman. He currently resides in Pittsboro, NC C.I.D..

North West Hendricks School Corporation is a public school district for the townships of Middle, Union, and Eel River in Hendricks County, Indiana. North West Hendricks School Corporation has operated as a school district since July 1, 1965. The reported enrollment of the NWHSC during the 2015-2016 school year was 1,886. The district has a total land area of 98.4 square miles. In 2011 the district's ISTEP scores increased even further moving it from the 5th ranked school district in the state to the 4th highest ranked school district in the state. The current superintendent is Scott Syverson.
Pittsboro High School was a public high school in Pittsboro, Indiana. The school mascot was the Burro and the school colors were red and black. Currently, the elementary school and primary school in town still have the same mascot and colors today.
