The Lloyd Center Tower is an 88-meter (290 foot) tall office tower in the Lloyd District of Portland, Oregon. At 20 stories, it is the tallest building in Oregon outside downtown Portland.
The Lloyd District is a primarily commercial neighborhood in the North and Northeast sections of Portland, Oregon. It is named after Ralph Lloyd (1875–1953), a California rancher, oilman, and real estate developer who moved to and started the development of the area.
Portland is the largest and most populous city in the U.S. state of Oregon and the seat of Multnomah County. It is a major port in the Willamette Valley region of the Pacific Northwest, at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers. As of 2017, Portland had an estimated population of 647,805, making it the 26th most populated city in the United States, and the second-most populous in the Pacific Northwest. Approximately 2.4 million people live in the Portland metropolitan statistical area (MSA), making it the 25th most populous MSA in the United States. Its Combined Statistical Area (CSA) ranks 18th-largest with a population of around 3.2 million. Approximately 60% of Oregon's population resides within the Portland metropolitan area.
Oregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region on the West Coast of the United States. The Columbia River delineates much of Oregon's northern boundary with Washington, while the Snake River delineates much of its eastern boundary with Idaho. The parallel 42° north delineates the southern boundary with California and Nevada. Oregon is one of only three states of the contiguous United States to have a coastline on the Pacific Ocean.

It was designed by John Graham & Associates and was completed in 1981. Companies who have occupied the tower include Durst Buildings Corp., who sold the tower to PacifiCorp in 1994. PacifiCorp sold the 50% of the office space in the tower in 1995 to Ashforth Pacific, Inc. A skybridge connects the high-rise to Lloyd Center across Northeast 9th Avenue.

Lloyd Center is a shopping mall in the Lloyd District of Portland, Oregon, United States, just northeast of downtown. It is owned by Arrow Retail of Dallas and anchored by Macy's. The mall features three floors of shopping with the third level serving mostly as professional office spaces, a food court, and U.S. Education Corporation's Carrington College. A Regal Cinemas multiplex is located across the street. The mall includes the Lloyd Center Ice Rink where Olympian Tonya Harding first learned to skate.
In 2001, the building was given the local and regional Earth Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association. In 2007, Integra Telecom moved their headquarters into some of the upper floors of the Lloyd Center Tower. [1]
