New Castle is a city in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The city is located six miles (10 km) south of Wilmington and is situated on the Delaware River. As of 2020, the city's population was 5,551.
Bellevue State Park is a 328-acre (133 ha) Delaware state park in the suburbs of Wilmington in New Castle County, Delaware in the United States. The park is named for Bellevue Hall, the former mansion of William du Pont Jr. Many of the facilities at the park were built by du Pont. Bellevue State Park overlooks the Delaware River and is open for year-round recreation, daily, from 8 a.m. until sunset. The Mount Pleasant Methodist Episcopal Church and Parsonage is located in Bellevue State Park; it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. Cauffiel House is a historic home in the park near Stoney Creek.
Lombardy Hall is a historic house at 1611 Concord Pike in Fairfax, Delaware. Probably built about 1750, this stone house is notable as the home of U.S. Founding Father Gunning Bedford Jr. (1747-1812), a delegate to the Constitutional Convention and a signer of the U. S. Constitution. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974.
Old Town Hall is a historic town hall located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1798, and is a large two-story brick building in a late-Georgian / early-Federal style. The roof is gently sloping and is topped by a large octagonal cupola and once had a wooden balustrade. The building housed the Wilmington city government until 1916 and served as a focal point of many public events in Delaware's history. The property is owned and managed by the Delaware Historical Society
Obidiah Dingee House, also known as the Obadiah Dingee House, is a historic home located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1771, and is an example of an 18th-century urban residence continually occupied by working families. It is a two-story, brick dwelling consisting of a 19 feet, 6 inches wide by 24 feet deep main block with a rear wing. It is adjacent to the Jacob Dingee House. In 1976, it was moved from its original location at 107 E. 7th Street to Willingtown Square of the Delaware Historical Society.
Minquadale is an unincorporated community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. It is the location of the southernmost interchange between Interstate 495 and US 13. It was the site of the Lobdell Estate, Minquadale Home. The Minquadale Community Methodist Church was built in 1943.

Friends Meetinghouse is a historic Quaker meeting house at 4th and West Streets in Wilmington, Delaware in the Quaker Hill neighborhood. The meeting is still active with a membership of about 400 and is part of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. It was built in 1815–1817 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
The Old Customshouse is a historic government building at 516 North King Street in Wilmington, Delaware. It was built in 1855 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
Rockwood is an English-style country estate and museum located in Wilmington, Delaware. Built between 1851 and 1854 by banker Joseph Shipley, Rockwood is an excellent example of Rural Gothic Revival Architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
Swanwyck is a historic home located near New Castle in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built between 1813 and 1819, and is a two-story, three bay, stuccoed brick dwelling reflective of the Regency period. The house has been modified by later additions and is now surrounded by 20th century residential development, unlike its original farmland setting.
Retirement Farm, also known as the James M. Vandergrift Farm, is a historic home and farm located near Odessa, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in the late-19th century, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five-bay frame, gable roofed farmhouse with a two-story rear ell. Also on the property are a small barn, granary, and barn. The small barn is the last known example of its kind surviving in St. Georges Hundred.
Greenlawn, also known as the Outten Davis House and William Brady House, was a historic home located at Middletown, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1810, and radically altered about 1860. It was a two-story, five bay, brick dwelling with cross-gable roof with dormers. It had a rear brick ell with attached wing. It featured a three-bay front porch, large brackets, a widow's walk on the roof, and ornate chimney caps. It was originally built in the Late Georgian style, then modified with Late Victorian details.
Williams House, also known as Woodlawn and Cross House, is a historic home located near Odessa, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1859, and is 2+1⁄2-story, five bay, brick dwelling with a gable roof in the Georgian style.
William Talley House is a historic home located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1770, as a one-room deep, two-room wide fieldstone dwelling. The house has evolved to a 2+1⁄2-story, four bay, rectangular dwelling with a steep gable roof.
Starr House, also known as the Michael VanKirk House, is a historic home located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built between 1801 and 1806, and is 2+1⁄2-story, brick dwelling with a gable roof. The house was restored in 1946 and considered the last example of colonial architecture in the city of Wilmington. Adjacent to the house is a mid-19th century frame summer kitchen, which contains a beehive oven, has been encased in brick.
Woodstock, also known as Banning Park, is a historic home located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. The house was restored in 1929. The "Woodstock" house stands at the highest point of the park. From this height can be seen the Delaware and Christina rivers and their surrounding marshes. The house is of brick, with a two-story east wing said to have been built in 1743, and a two-and-one half story west wing built-in 1833. The addition of porches and a kitchen shed during the 1930s are the only modern changes. On the roof of the newer and taller wing is a "widow's walk" surrounded by a balustrade.
Glynrich is the site for two historic homes: the Richard Richardson House and the Brick Mill House. They are located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. The Brick Mill House, also known as the John Richardson House, was built about 1723, and is a two-story, three-bay, gable roof brick structure with Flemish bond and glazed headers on the facade rising from a full raised basement. It has a one-bay, hipped roof, wooden entrance porch. The Richard Richardson House was built in 1765, and is a two-story five-bay, center-hall, double pile with a lower single pile two-story wing at the east end. It is in the Georgian style. It has a five-bay, hipped roof Georgian Revival porch added around 1900. The property was the site of extensive milling activities on the Mill Creek in the 18th and 19th centuries.
New Castle Leather Raw Stock Warehouse, also known as the Kaumagraph Building, is a historic warehouse building located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1917, and is a three-story, rectangular steel, concrete, and brick building measuring 100 feet by 200 feet and featuring a projecting roof cornice, flat roof, and large window areas. It is characterized as a fireproof industrial building in the commercial style of the early 1900s. It was originally built as a warehouse to store goatskins for a Wilmington kid leather manufacturer and later housed the plant and offices of a specialty printing firm.
The Lucy Ruggles House is a historic house at 262 South Prospect Street in Burlington, Vermont, USA. Its main section built in 1857, it is a prominent local example of Italianate architecture, with both older and newer ells to the rear. It is now home to a non-profit senior living facility, operating on the premises since 1932. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
