Lone Star is a ghost town in Wise County, the community is on Farm Road 1810 between Decatur and Chico. [1] [2] The Cemetery and church are the only remaining structures. [3]

The county was created by an act of the Congress of the Republic of Texas on December 14, 1837, and is named for the town of Montgomery.
