The song was written by McKeehan,Christopher Stevens,and Michael Ripoll. Her career began as a contestant in the fifth season of American Idol,in which she finished in ninth place. She is the fifth American Idol alumna to win a Grammy Award,for her album Overcomer in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category.
Aaron Michael Shust is an American contemporary Christian music artist formerly on the Brash Music and Centricity Music labels,and now on his own label. Shust was named the Songwriter of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards of 2007,and his song,"My Savior My God",received the Song of the Year award.
