Festim Arifi (Albanian: [festimarifi] ; born 28 January 1984), known professionally as Lyrical Son, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper and songwriter. Born and raised in Pristina, Arifi is credited as a viable hip hop artist in the Albanian-speaking Balkans.
Lyrical Son was born as Festim Arifi on 28 January 1984 into an ethnic Albanian family in the city of Pristina, then part of the SFR Yugoslavia, present Kosovo. [1] [2] Arifi began rapping at high school in his youth and started pursuing a music career seriously, after the Kosovo War in 1999. [1] During his elementary school years, he eventually adopted his stage name, which was taken after a notebook entry from his English teacher. [1] Lyrical Son started to become a household name in the Albanian hip hop scene in the early 2000s with his catchy hooks and creative writing and flows on his verses. In October 19, 2008, he released his first solo album titled "Recept" . The outstanding song from the album is the all time classic "Po Pritoj". 3 years laters, Lyrical Son together with Mc Kresha, Strike Beatz, K-Master and Onufër Berisha started the music label P.I.N.T ( Për Inati T'Njoni Tjetrit ). The music label has become one of the most prominent labels in the Albanian hip hop scene with having several successful albums, signing young artists & producers and elevating their careers.
In July 2018, Arifi was announced as an act at the Sunny Hill Festival on its debut edition in Pristina. [3] In August 2019, Arifi was approached to perform for a second time at the Sunny Hill Festival. [4] In late December 2021, Arifi together with MC Kresha announced their fourth collaborative album, Muzikë e Alltisë, which was eventually released on 12 January 2022. [5] [6]
Arifi married his longtime partner Gresa Krasniqi on 19 August 2014 in Pristina, Kosovo. [7]

Getoar Selimi, also known as Geasy or Ghetto Geasy, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Prishtina, Selimi found prominence in the Albanian-speaking Balkans as a member of the musical group Tingulli 3nt beginning in 1996.
Dafina Zeqiri, also known mononymously as Dafina, is a Swedish-born Kosovo-Albanian singer.
Etnon were an ethnic Albanian Hip-Hop duo from Pristina, Kosovo formed in 1997. The group consisted of Genc Prelvukaj and Milot Hasangjekaj, known respectively as Gentz and Mc`M.

Elvana Gjata is an Albanian singer-songwriter, actress and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Tirana, she has been referred to as a "Diva of Albanian music". She rose to recognition in Albania and other Albanian-speaking territories in the Balkans following the release of her two studio albums, Mamës (2007) and Afër dhe larg (2011). The singer saw further success through many acclaimed singles, as well as her extended plays 3 (2018) and Çelu (2021), and has achieved multiple number one singles in the Albanian singles chart. Gjata has also received numerous awards and accolades, including two Balkan Music Awards, a Festivali i Këngës Award, four Kënga Magjike Awards and a Top Fest Award.
Arilena Ara is an Albanian singer and television presenter. Ara rose to national recognition in Albania, upon her victory at X Factor Albania in 2013. After her participation in the 18th edition of the music contest Kënga Magjike, her song "Nëntori" found significant success in Romania and Eastern Europe, peaking at number-one in the Romanian Airplay chart. Following her forthcoming success at the 58th edition of the music contest Festivali i Këngës in 2019, she was designated as the Albanian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, before the contest's cancellation.
Trim Ademi, known professionally as Capital T, is a Kosovo Albanian rapper, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Pristina, he was introduced to music and rap by his uncle at an early age. He rose to prominence in the Albanian-speaking world after the release of his first two albums, Replay (2010) and KAPO (2012). Due to the success of his albums, he founded his own record label Authentic Entertainment.

Doruntina Shala, known professionally as Tayna, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper and singer. Born and raised in Prizren, she rose to prominence in the Albanian-speaking territories during the span of 2018 after the releases of five top-three singles. Her success was further solidified upon her breakthrough in German-speaking territories in 2020 as she signed a record contract with Sony Music.
"Fustani" is a song recorded by Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata featuring Kosovo-Albanian rapper Capital T. It was written by both aforementioned artists and produced by Albanian producers Rzon and Arbre Blass. Swedish producer Johan Bejerholm further mastered and mixed the song. An official music video for "Fustani" was shot in Turkey and was uploaded on 29 June 2019 onto YouTube to accompany the single's release. A vibrant video, it features scenes of the pair performing to the song in the outskirts of Istanbul in variety of sets, and Elvana appearing with five different dresses throughout the entire video. The single experienced commercial success in Albania and went on to the country's number one The Top List chart. The record was further promoted by both artists with live performances at the Alba Festival 2019 in Zürich and soon after, at the Sunny Hill Festival 2019 in Pristina.
Gramoz Aliu, known professionally as Mozzik, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper and singer. Born and raised in Ferizaj, Aliu began to make music at an early age before pursuing a professional career as a rapper. He rose to significant attention in Albanian-speaking countries after signing contract with On Records. Aliu later earned popularity in German-speaking Europe, as he collaborated with his wife and fellow rapper Loredana. Their collaborations achieved commercial success in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and topped the charts in the aforementioned countries. Due to his success, he signed contract with Sony Music Germany and announced his debut studio album to be released in 2020.

The Sunny Hill Festival is an annual international music festival in Pristina, Kosovo, organised by English and Albanian singer Dua Lipa and her father Dukagjin Lipa. It has established itself as the largest music festival in Kosovo.
Lamboziki is the second studio album recorded by Kosovo-Albanian rapper Mozzik. It was released for digital download and streaming on 13 February 2022 by 2 Euro Gang and Urban as a follow-up to Mozzart (2020). Lasting for 43 minutes and 35 seconds across 14 songs, the rapper extensively collaborated with Kosovo-Albanian producers Pellumb and Rzon on the record. It was classified as a hip hop, pop and R&B album, comprising songs performed mainly in Albanian with limited lines in English, French, and German. Upon release, Lamboziki saw a moderate commercial success, reaching number 42 in Switzerland. Three singles released throughout October 2021 to January 2022 preceded the record, including "Bonjour Madame" featuring Noizy, "Shko" and "Ska" with Elvana Gjata. The former three were all accompanied by music videos and entered the single charts in Albania and Switzerland.
"Bebe" is a song by Kosovo-Albanian singer and songwriter Era Istrefi released as a single for digital download and streaming on 1 April 2022 by Bzzz and Leaf. The song was written by BimBimma and Istrefi, and produced by the latter together with Claydee. An Albanian-language EDM, electro dance, pop, R&B and urban song, it lyrically explores the themes of sexual desire, fantasies and physical attraction.
"Tkrkt" is a song by Kosovo-Albanian singer and songwriter Era Istrefi. The song was written by Era Isrefi and produced by Claydee and Paris Kalpos. Leaf released it as a single for digital download and streaming on 21 May 2022. It is an Albanian and English-language EDM, pop and reggaeton song with afro-pop and dancehall elements. Lyrically, the song is an ode to a woman's pleasure of having fun and partying with friends. Upon release, "Tkrkt" received widespread acclaim from music critics. Praise was directed from them towards its composition and production as well as Istrefi's appearance and fashion. Commercially, the song reached number 19 in Albania. Filmed in Dubai, UAE, an accompanying music video was uploaded to Istrefi's YouTube channel on 21 May 2022. With observers complimenting the visual and its location, it depicts the singer performing the song in different exclusive-described settings.
