Madhya Bharat Sports Club is an Indian semi-professional football club based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, who plays in I-League 2nd Division. [1]

Before 2000, when Chhattisgarh was a part of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh was the largest state in India and the distance between the two furthest points inside the state, Singoli and Konta, was 1500 km. Konta is presently in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh state.

The Celtic Football Club is a Scottish professional football club based in Glasgow, which plays in the Scottish Premiership. The club was founded in 1887 with the purpose of alleviating poverty in the immigrant Irish population in the East End of Glasgow. They played their first match in May 1888, a friendly match against Rangers which Celtic won 5–2. Celtic established themselves within Scottish football, winning six successive league titles during the first decade of the 20th century. The club enjoyed their greatest successes during the 1960s and 70s under Jock Stein when they won nine consecutive league titles and the 1967 European Cup. On 21 February 2018, All India Football Federation announced that Madhya Bharat will participate in 2017–18 I-League 2nd Division. [3] On 21 August 2018, All India Football Federation announced that Madhya Bharat will participate in 2018–19 I-League 2and Division.

The All India Football Federation, also simply known as the AIFF, is the governing body of association football in India. Formed in 1937, the federation was one of founding members of the Asian Football Confederation, the overseer of football in Asia.

The 2017–18 I-League 2nd Division was the 11th season of the I-League 2nd Division, the second division Indian football league, since its establishment in 2008. The season started with the preliminary rounds from 14 March to 15 May 2018. The final round of the league took place between 21 May to 30 May 2018 at FSV Arena, Bengaluru.

As the governing body of association football, FIFA is responsible for maintaining and implementing the rules that determine whether an association football player is eligible to represent a particular country in officially recognised international competitions and friendly matches. Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the reserve side was founded on 12 January 2018 and will participate in the I-League 2nd Division, the second division of Indian football.
