Makapanstad is a village and the seat of the (lekapi) Moretele Local Municipality, falling under Bojanala District Municipality in the North West province of South Africa.
Makapanstad is under the leadership of the Makapan royal family. They are the Bakgatla Ba Mosetlha and their totem animal is the Kgabo (English: their spirit animal is the monkey). The most recent Chief of Makapanstad was Kgosi Motshegwa Hendrick. He died on 26 December 2014.
Cockfighting is a blood sport involving roosters ("cocks"), held in a ring called a cockpit. The ferret is a small, domesticated species belonging to the family Mustelidae. The ferret is most likely a domesticated form of the wild European polecat, evidenced by their interfertility. Physically, ferrets resemble other mustelids because of their long, slender bodies. Including their tail, the average length of a ferret is about 50 cm (20 in); they weigh between 0.7 and 2.0 kg ; and their fur can be black, brown, white, or a mixture of those colours. The species is sexually dimorphic, with males being considerably larger than females.

Chifeng, also known as Ulanhad, is a prefecture-level city in Southeastern Inner Mongolia, People's Republic of China. It borders Xilin Gol League to the north and west, Tongliao to the northeast, Chaoyang (Liaoning) to the southeast and Chengde (Hebei) to the south. Tributaries of the Pienaars River include the Moreletaspruit. Note that the above-mentioned Moretele river section is 60 km away from the Moreletaspruit and these two should not be confused with one another.
