Sumitra Singh is an Indian politician and senior Jat leader from the Shekhawati region in Rajasthan. She was the first women Speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. She was elected as member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for nine terms,out of which in three terms she represented Pilani constituency while she represented Jhunjhunu constituency for six terms. She is one of the most successful women politician of Rajasthan state.
Behror is a city in the Kotpulti-Behror district of Rajasthan of the Jaipur division. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the eponymous Behror Tehsil and shares headquarters for Kotputli-Behror district with Kotputli. It is equidistant from both state capital Jaipur and national capital New Delhi. Located 120 km south-west of New Delhi and as a part of National Capital Region,it is regulated under National Capital Region Planning Board which is a federal authority for urban planning purposes in NCR. Along with Shahjahanpur and Neemrana it is grouped as SNB Complex (Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror) of NCR- which includes 137 revenue villages,in which Behror municipality is the largest urban conglomeration. This region is also known as 'Ahirwal region' or simply as Raath and is an important industrial hub for the state of Rajasthan. Behror municipality spreads out in an area of 15 km2 is divided into four revenue villages namely Behror tarf Gangabishan,Behror tarf Doongrasi,Behror tarf Nainsukh,Behror tarf Balram.
Bhanwar Lal Sharma was an Indian politician. He was a 7th term Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Sardarshahar,Churu,Rajasthan. He emerged as a national figure in the Brahmin Samaj as he was President of All India Brahmin Federation since 2011. He was a Cabinet Minister of Indira Gandhi Neher Pariyojana in Rajasthan Government.
Sumitra Devi was an Indian National Congress politician from Bihar. She was first elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1952 from Jagdishpur. In 1963,she became the first woman cabinet minister of Bihar. She was also the first Bihari woman to become a cabinet minister in Government of India in 1977. Devi was born in Munger district on September 25,1922,and died on February 3,2001. She has served 4 times as MLA of Arrah from 1962 to 1969 and 1972 to 1980. Apart from this,she was also elected once from Piro Assembly constituency in 1957. In 1977,she participated in Indian General elections from Balia Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate,but she was defeated.
Hanuman Ramdev Beniwal is an Indian politician and farmer leader from Nagaur,Rajasthan. He is serving as Member of Parliament,Lok Sabha from Nagaur. He is founder and president of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party. He also served as member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Khinvsar.
