Manseok Park is a large public park in the Jeongja-dong area of Jangan-gu,Suwon,Gyeonggi Province,South Korea.
The centrepiece of the park is a man-made reservoir around which there is a 1200 m track used for walking,running,rollerblading and cycling. There is a huge paved area and permanent stage on the east side of the park,which hosts various outdoor events and celebrations every year,while the Suwon Arts Centre can be found on the south side. The park is also home to the 14 tennis-courts(Manseok tennis-court/Hard court) of the North Suwon Tennis Club. The specialized tennis shop is on the first floor across from the tennis court. There is a full size dirt soccer pitch on the west side and a high quality astroturf soccer pitch on the east side of the park.
In 2004 the Suwon X-games skatepark opened at Manseok. This public facility has two half pipes (one being the highest public half-pipe in Korea) and a large selection of top-quality ramps,rails and boxes. There is an oval speed track around the perimeter of the park for rollerbladers.
The park also features high quality restrooms in accordance with Suwon City Council's stated policy. [1]
Each June the park hosts the Suwon Galbi Festival,a highlight of the Korean gastronomic calendar. Galbi (marinated,barbecued beef ribs) originates from Suwon and is served all over Korea and around the world. The event consists of a massive number of pojangmacha (Hangeul:포장마차) being erected and cooking up as much galbi as possible,accompanied by plenty of soju.
During the 2002 FIFA World Cup,Manseok became the Suwon World Cup Park and large screens and stages were erected to celebrate the country's co-hosting of the event. Tens of thousands of fans from Korea and around the world witnessed the performances of the South Korean team on the big screens.
The park has a variety of restaurants and bars along the street to the north-east. There is a wide range of Korean food,including galmaegisal (갈매기살) and stewed chicken (닭백숙),and Datzzang Donkas recently opened its first branch outside Seoul here. There is a range of Korean-style bars,and also It Bar,a western-style alternative.
Most buses which serve north Suwon and many express buses between Suwon and Seoul stop just outside the park,including the frequent 65 (Anyang - Woncheon Resort) and the 7770 (Suwon Station - Sadang (Seoul) express). The nearest subway stop is Hwaseo on Line 1. The park is also close to the Suwon kt Wiz park baseball stadium and the Suwon FC football stadium.

The Suwon World Cup Stadium (수원월드컵경기장) is a football stadium located in Suwon,South Korea. It has been home of the K League 1 team Suwon Samsung Bluewings since 2001. The capacity of the stadium is 44,031.

Gunpo,formerly romanized as Kunp'o,is a small city in South Korea's Gyeonggi Province,located south of Seoul in the Seoul National Capital Area. It borders Anyang to the north,Uiwang to the east,and Ansan to the south and west,and is connected to its neighbors and to Seoul by lines 1 and 4 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. Gunpo is also home to three stops on the Gyeongbu Line,a national railway that links it to the rest of the country. Dongdaemun Stadium was a sports complex in Seoul,South Korea and included a multi-purpose stadium,a baseball park and other sports facilities. It was located near Dongdaemun or Great East Gate. The surrounding Dongdaemun market had many vendors selling athletics-related goods. It was demolished in 2008 to make way for the Dongdaemun Design Plaza &Park.

Bundang-gu is one of South Korea's wealthiest and highest developed areas,being the nation's first and largest completely artificial city built in the early 1990s. Hwaseong Fortress or Suwon Hwaseong is a fortification surrounding the centre of Suwon,the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do,in South Korea. It was built from 1794 to 1796 by King Jeongjo of the Joseon dynasty to house and honour the remains of his father,Prince Sado. Sado had been executed by being locked alive inside a rice chest by his own father King Yeongjo after failing to obey a command to commit suicide. Located 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Seoul and enclosing much of central Suwon,the fortress includes King Jeongjo's palace Haenggung. The fortress and enclosed palace were designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997. It comprises among many other features the palace,a perimeter wall,four main gates,and two sluicegates over the Suwoncheon,Suwon's main stream,which flows through the centre of the fortress.

Minsok village (Korean Folk Village) is a living museum type of tourist attraction in the city of Yongin,a satellite city in the Seoul Metropolitan Area in the province of Gyeonggi in South Korea. It was first opened on October 3,1974 (ground breaking in 1973 and completion in 1974). Korean Folk Village is a popular tourist destination for both Koreans and foreigners,located near South Korea's largest amusement park,Everland.

Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center is a tennis venue in Seoul,South Korea,located in the Olympic Park. It hosted the tennis events for the 1988 Summer Olympics and has hosted several South Korea Davis Cup team and South Korea Fed Cup team ties. The center currently hosts the Hansol Korea Open Tennis Championships. The main stadium has a capacity of 10,000 people. The No.1 court has a capacity of 3,500,and the other 12 courts have a capacity of 900.
Joam is a small town located in Gyeonggi-do,South Korea. The town is a part of the primarily rural and agricultural city of Hwaseong. Joam is also the urban center of Ujeong-eup,the population of which is approximately 18,000 and which encompasses both Joam and much of the surrounding countryside. Agriculture is the primary use of land in the region,rice being the main crop but with Chinese cabbage,radish,chili peppers,other fruit and vegetables,and livestock being grown and raised. The area is also home to several industrial sites including a large Kia Motors test facility.
