Marcus Bryant (born June 22, 2002) is an American professional football offensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the SMU Mustangs and Missouri Tigers and was selected by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Early life

Bryant was born on June 22, 2002, to Stefan and Dena in Round Rock, Texas. He played high school football at Cedar Ridge in Round Rock.

College career

SMU

Bryant was a three-star recruit coming out of high school, and lettered at SMU from 2020 to 2023, playing in 42 games and starting in 29 of them. In 2023, Bryant helped the Mustangs to the AAC Conference Championship Game, where the Mustangs defeated Tulane 26–14. [1] Bryant earned First Team All-AAC honors for his play in 2023. [2]

Missouri

Prior to the 2024 season, Bryant transferred to Missouri. [3] In 2024, Bryant started all 13 games at tackle for the Tigers, playing in 975 snaps and helping the offense accumulate 2,138 rushing and 2,926 passing yards as well as 26 rushing TDs, and to a victory over Iowa in the 2024 Music City Bowl. On April 26, 2025, the New England Patriots selected Bryant with the 220th pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft. [7] [8]
