Martin Otieno Ogindo

Martin Otieno Ogindo is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Green Congress of Kenya and was elected to represent the Rangwe Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. [1] During this period, Ogindo was the [2] Chairman of the Fiscal Analysis and Appropriations Committee of the Kenyan Parliament. The committee was renamed the Budget Committee on April 28, 2009. Martin Otieno Ogindo contested again in the August 2022 general elections for the Homa Bay town parliamentary seat and lost to Peter Kaluma Opondo. [3]

Siaya County is one of the counties in the former Western Province in the Eastern part of Kenya. It is bordered by Busia County to the north, Kakamega County and Vihiga County's to the northeast and Kisumu County to the southeast. It shares a water border with Homa Bay County which is located south of Siaya County. The total area of the county is approximately 2,496.1 km2. Gerald Otieno Kajwang was a Kenyan politician. He belonged to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Mbita Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the December 2007 parliamentary election. In the bitterly contested 2013 elections, Otieno Kajwang was elected to represent Homa Bay County in the Senate of Kenya. Upon his death, his brother, Moses Otieno Kajwang won the election to succeed him in Parliament, representing Homa Bay.

Justin Bedan Njoka Muturi is the Current Attorney General of Kenya who also served as the seventh Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya, in office from 2013-2022. He is the first Speaker to serve following the reestablishment of a bicameral Parliament, as mandated by the 2010 Constitution. On 28 March 2013, Muturi won the speakership after a second round of voting by Members of the National Assembly, beating former speaker Kenneth Marende by a 219–129 margin.

Moses Otieno Kajwang is the second elected Senator for Homa Bay County in Kenya and a member of the Orange Democratic Movement. He was elected on 12 February 2015 in a by election that was occasioned by the death of his brother Gerald Otieno Kajwang. He was re-elected in 2017 for a second term and in 2022 for a third term.

Johnson Arthur Sakaja is a Kenyan politician serving as the governor of Nairobi City County since 25th August 2022. Previously, he served as the Senator of Nairobi from 2017 to 2022, and as a nominated Member of the National Assembly from 2013 to 2017.
