The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is a South African left-wing to far-left pan-Africanist political party. It was founded by expelled former African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) President Julius Malema, and his allies, in 2013. Malema is President of the EFF, heading the Central Command Team which serves as the central structure of the party. The party itself has been accused of fomenting anti-Indian and anti-White racism, and Malema himself was convicted in 2011 for singing the racist song, "Shoot the Boer".
Solly Tshepiso Msimanga is a South African politician who has been serving as the Leader of the Opposition in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since May 2019. He took office as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature in February 2019. He previously held the position from 2014 to 2016. Msimanga was the Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality from 2016 to 2019 and the DA Provincial Chairperson from 2014 to 2017. He was the Democratic Alliance's Gauteng Premier candidate for the 2019 elections.

Mandisa Sibongile Mashego is a South African politician and feminist. A member of the Economic Freedom Fighters, she served as the party's provincial chairperson in Gauteng from 2018 to 2020. She was also a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 2014 to 2020.

She was previously a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa from 2017 to 2018 and a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature from 2018 to 2019. She was also a municipal councillor of the Tswaing Local Municipality. Visser is the provincial chairperson of the Democratic Alliance (DA).
Mmabatho Olive Mokause is a South African politician serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from the Northern Cape since March 2020. She is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Mokause had formerly been a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from May 2014 to April 2015. She was appointed as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa, the lower house of Parliament, in April 2015 and served in the post until January 2018. After the May 2019 general election, she returned to the National Assembly but resigned in September. She was selected to represent the EFF in the upper house in March 2020.
Amanda de Lange is a South African politician who has been serving as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for the Freedom Front Plus since May 2019. Prior to her election to the legislature, she served as a councillor of the Mogale City Local Municipality.
Mathew John Cuthbert is a South African politician who has been the Shadow Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry since June 2019. A member of the Democratic Alliance, he was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa in May 2019. Cuthbert also served as a councillor of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality.
Erns Kleynhans is a South African politician currently serving as a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature for the Freedom Front Plus. Kleynhans was formerly a councillor of the Matlosana Local Municipality.
Gavin George Edwards is a South African politician who is a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature representing the Democratic Alliance. Previously, he served as a councillor of the JB Marks Local Municipality.
