Mercus-Garrabet is a commune in the Ariège department in southwestern France.
The commune is a level of administrative division in the French Republic. Ariège is a department in Southwestern France, in the Occitanie region. It is named after the Ariège River and its capital is Foix. The inhabitants of the department are known as Ariègeois or Ariègeoises.
