Merja Tuulikki Korpela (born 15 May 1981 in Soini) is a female hammer thrower from Finland. Her personal best throw is 69.56 metres, achieved in July 2009 in Belgrade.
She finished fourth at the 2000 World Junior Championships. She also competed at the 2002 European Championships, the 2006 European Championships and the 2007 World Championships and the 2008 Olympic Games without reaching the final.

Kamila Skolimowska was a Polish hammer thrower. She is best known for her gold medal in the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, which made her the youngest Olympic hammer champion, as well as for her two medals from the European Championships. Her personal best throw, and former Polish record, was 76.83 metres, achieved in May 2007 in Doha. She died on 18 February 2009 in Vila Real de Santo António, Portugal at the Polish national team training camp.

Jennifer Dahlgren Fitzner is a retired Argentine hammer thrower. Having spent much of her life in the United States, she competed as an amateur for the University of Georgia. On 5 May 2012, he became the Spanish record holder with the senior weight hammer, which weighs 7,26 kg (16 lbs), after making a throw of 76,21 meters. He established a new national record of 78.70 m at the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano of La Nucia, on 31 August 2019. On 6 September 2019, he improved this record with a mark of 79.38 m.

While competing for Chaminade College Preparatory School he set the US high school record at four contested hammer weights - 11 lb, 12 lb, 13.2 lb and 16 lb.
