Mesosphaerocera is a genus of flies belonging to the family Sphaeroceridae. [3] Along with Parasphaerocera and Neosphaerocera , Mesosphaerocera is closely related to Afromyia and Sphaerocera and forms a distinct supergeneric group. [4]
