Michael Southworth is an American politician. He is the member-elect for the Caledonia-2 district of the Vermont House of Representatives. [2]
Johnathan Southworth Ritter was an American actor. He was a son of the singing cowboy star Tex Ritter and the father of actors Jason and Tyler Ritter. He is best known for playing Jack Tripper on the ABC sitcom Three's Company (1977–1984),and received a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for the role in 1984. Ritter briefly reprised the role on the spin-off Three's a Crowd,which aired for one season,producing 22 episodes before its cancellation in 1985.
Helen Mary Southworth is a former Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom who is the Chief Executive of Age Concern Isle of Man. She is the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Warrington South,and was first elected at the 1997 general election. She retained the Warrington South seat at the 2001 and 2005 general elections,each time with a reduced majority. On 15 June 2009,she announced that she would be retiring at the next general election. The seat that she vacated was subsequently won for the Conservative Party by David Mowat. She was the only person to have won successive elections in the constituency until Mowat retained the seat at the 2015 general election with an increased majority.

William Harold Southworth was an American outfielder and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). As a player in 1913 and 1915 and from 1918 to 1929 for five big-league teams,Southworth took part in almost 1,200 games,fell just short of 1,300 hits and batted .297 lifetime. Southworth managed in 1929 and from 1940 through 1951. He oversaw three pennant-winning St. Louis Cardinals teams,winning two World Series,and another pennant with the Boston Braves,the last National League title in Boston baseball history. As manager of the Cardinals,his .642 winning percentage is the second-highest in franchise history and the highest since 1900.
