Michelle Marie Shoda Belloso (born May 29, 1960) is a Venezuelan-American actress, businesswoman and beauty pageant titleholder.

Shoda grew up in Maracaibo and competed as Miss Falcón in Miss Venezuela 1982, becoming first runner up and gaining the right to represent Venezuela in the Miss World pageant held in London, United Kingdom on November 18, 1982. [1]

Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 December 2016, at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. It was the second time that the Miss World pageant held in the United States. It was the second time where Puerto Rico won Miss World, after Wilnelia Merced in 1975.

Miss International 2018, the 58th Miss International pageant, was held on 9 November 2018, at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kevin Lilliana from Indonesia crowned her successor Mariem Velazco from Venezuela at the end of the event. This marks Venezuela's eighth victory at Miss International - the most in the pageant's history. This is the third time in Miss International history that the finals night saw the return of the previous year's runners-up to crown their respective successors. This year Miss International comeback edition with the theme "Cheer All Woman" alongside Miss International Japan 2019.
