Micropterix completella is a species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae, first described by Otto Staudinger in 1871. [1] It is endemic to Italy and is known only from Sardinia. [2]

The name was raised by the German entomologist, Jacob Hübner in 1825 and comes from the Greek for mikros, little and pterux, a wing.
